1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LocumsLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

2. Description of Service

LocumsLab provides financial calculators and tools designed to help healthcare professionals:

• Compare staff positions vs locums/travel contracts
• Evaluate S-Corporation vs sole proprietorship structures
• Estimate taxes and take-home income
• Save and compare multiple scenarios
• Access market benchmarks for compensation

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must:

• Provide accurate information (email address)
• Be at least 18 years old
• Keep your password secure
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Free and Pro Plans

Free Plan:

• Access to all 7 calculators
• Save 1 scenario
• View market benchmarks

Pro Plan ($39 one-time):

• S-Corp Evaluator access
• Unlimited saved scenarios
• Scenario comparison view
• PDF export capability
• Lifetime access

5. Payment Terms

• Pro plan is a one-time payment of $39 USD
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• All sales are final (see Refund Policy below)
• Prices may change with 30 days notice for new purchases

6. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with LocumsLab. Here's our refund policy:

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee:

• If you're not satisfied within 30 days of purchase, request a full refund
• Email hello@locumslab.com with your account email and reason for refund
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method

Refund Eligibility:

• ✅ Technical issues preventing use of features
• ✅ Product doesn't meet your expectations after genuine use
• ✅ Changed your mind within the first 7 days
• ❌ After downloading/exporting substantial content (PDFs, reports)
• ❌ After using Pro features extensively (e.g., saving 10+ scenarios)
• ❌ Duplicate purchases (we'll refund the duplicate automatically)

How to Request a Refund:

1. Email hello@locumslab.com from your account email
2. Include "Refund Request" in subject line
3. Briefly explain why (helps us improve)
4. We'll process within 2 business days

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Share your Pro account with others
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our service
• Use our service to provide competing services
• Scrape or collect data through automated means
• Misrepresent yourself or provide false information

8. Intellectual Property

LocumsLab and its content (including code, design, text, and calculations) are owned by Pathway Healthcare LLC and protected by copyright laws. You may not copy our calculator logic, reproduce our content without permission, or create derivative works. You retain ownership of any data you input into our calculators.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

LocumsLab is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that calculations are error-free, the service will be uninterrupted, market benchmarks are complete or current, or results match your actual tax situation. Use at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any financial losses resulting from use of our service, tax penalties, or financial decisions made based on our calculations. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid ($39 for Pro users, $0 for Free users).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pathway Healthcare LLC, LocumsLab, and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Data Storage

Your scenarios are stored securely in your account database. We recommend backing up important scenarios manually. We are not responsible for data loss due to technical issues.

13. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice, change pricing for new purchases (existing Pro users keep lifetime access), terminate accounts that violate these terms, and shut down the service with 90 days notice (with pro-rated refunds if applicable).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Pennsylvania, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of LocumsLab after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
