Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address
• A hashed password (we never store your password in plain text)
• Account creation date and last login timestamp
• Whether you are a free or Pro user

When you use the calculators, we may store:

• Scenarios you choose to save (income figures, calculator inputs)
• Your saved comparisons and named scenarios

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or any payment card details directly. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Save and retrieve your scenarios across sessions
• Determine your plan status (free vs. Pro)
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• Improve the accuracy and features of LocumsLab

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. Contract Review

• Your contract file is never stored by LocumsLab.
• The contract is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the review. Anthropic does not train on API inputs and deletes them under its commercial retention policy.
• The completed review, which includes short quotations from your contract, is stored in your account for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Only you can access it.

The review reads contract terms only and does not need to know who you are, so we recommend removing your name, the facility, and the recruiter before uploading.

Some contracts restrict disclosure of their own terms. You are responsible for confirming that uploading yours is consistent with any obligations you have agreed to.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS.

Access to your data is restricted by row-level security policies — your scenarios, reviews, and account information are only accessible to you when you are logged in.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

5. Payment Processing

Pro access is processed by Stripe. When you upgrade to Pro, you will be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. LocumsLab does not store your credit card number, CVV, or billing address.

6. Sponsored Access

If an agency or recruiter sponsors your access to LocumsLab, they are told only that access was activated. They do not see your calculator inputs, your results, your contracts, or your reviews.

7. Cookies & Analytics

LocumsLab uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication (to keep you logged in between sessions). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

We record which calculators are run so we can understand aggregate usage and improve them. We do not attach your scenario values or contract contents to that record.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your saved scenarios at any time

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and saved scenarios will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Contract review results are deleted automatically 30 days after the review is run, whether or not your account remains active. Uploaded contract files are never stored at any point.

Anonymized, aggregate usage data (e.g. number of calculations performed) may be retained indefinitely.

10. Children's Privacy

LocumsLab is intended for adult healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.

Continued use of LocumsLab after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
